Mr. Christopher Gerick
His great effort is the promotion and renovation of the monastery. He is the one who has been helping the monastery since last two and half decades and his Presence in Mani Rimdu during these times. He has helped a lot in every matter such as by bringing his friend during the Manirimdu festival and telling them to help the monastery plus he has been helping by bringing HH Trulshig Rinpoche to Chiwong by helicopter almost every Year. He has also supported the nuns and monks staying at chiwong by providing financial support personally. He has also produced a movie called LORD OF THE DANCE this movie is of Mani Rimdu festival. He has brought many distinguished guest to Chiwong as his guest last year the monastery is able to get help from them too. At present Mr. Christopher is advisor to the Board o0f Trustees.

Mr. Carlos Vejarno

He has help us in painting of the walls of the court yard of the visitors gallery and for the renovation of the ruined refugee house which is now converted into a school and hostel building from this year. He has also provided modern stove for all the monks, kitchen of chisa and the laprang. This has helped a lot for the monks cause with very less wood they can cook; also it has preserved the forest by cutting fewer trees for fire-wood.

Mrs. Francesca Von Habsburg

He has contributed for the renovation of ruined refugee house to convert it in a school and hostel building.

Mr. Dennis Ramsey

Mr. Dennis Ramsey from USA has helped the monastery, by installing solar power panels for electricity in 2002 in the monastery. Later in 2006 the facility is extended to the newly built houses for the monks. He visited Chiwong several times to attend the Mani Rimdu festival.

Mr. Gombu Sherpa

He became the Jindak (sponsor) of the Mani Rimdu several times.

Dr. Mingmar Gyalzen Sherpa

He has introduced the monastery and the need of stoves by talking with Mr. Carols for providing  the fire stove.

He has also helped the monastery.

CUNINA Belgium/ Nepal,

CUNINA Belgium, an INGO is providing  scholarship through CUNINA Nepal an Ngo for 10 years for 12 poor students studying in the monastic school of Chiwong.
This organization is providing scholarship for 40 poor students studying at Phaplu Community School and providing training for midwife nursing at Phaplu.

Sherpa Education Development and Information Centre (SEDIC).

This organization has constructed 3 public toilets and bath rooms for the monks and pilgrimage of Chiwong Monastery.

District Development committee, Solukhumbu

Quarters for 10  monks has been constructed inside  the compound of monastery in 2005. These quarters are built by the financial  assistance of Solu Khumbu district development committee during the presidential term of Mr. Ang Babu Lama.
